Tom Nicholson

Tom Nicholson is an artist who lives in Melbourne. He has worked with archival material and the visual languages of politics and propaganda, often using public actions and focussing on the relationship between actions and their traces. This year his work will be exhibited in the Shanghai Biennale, and in the international exhibition To the Arts, Citizens, a large-scale international exhibition at the Serralves Museum to celebrate the 150th enniversary of the Portuguese Republic. He is represented by Anna Schwartz Gallery, and is a Lecturer in Drawing in the Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University.
