Michael Kennedy is currently a PhD student at Columbia University in the department of Anthropology. He holds a BA in Religious Studies and Political Science from the University of South Carolina and an MA in Anthropology from the American University in Cairo. In addition, he serves as a photography instructor and Regional Coordinator for the Research Journalism Initiative, an educational media nonprofit organization that provides conceptual and technical training in media production to Palestinian journalism students.
